I got lost on the way down there, and went on another night time scenic tour of the Oregon Coast line. Gotta love those. I finally made it there shortly before midnight and got a good night sleep. The next morning the waves were just glass. Awesome! Sucked down a Red Bull, suited up and paddled out.

For some reason, there were very few people on the beach and even less in the water, may have been the fact that the weather was calling for rain. I didn't see any. Waves were incredible and we fought 'em all morning and afternoon. Couldn't have asked for a better day. Another awesome thing about Cape Kiwanda, is you can drive right on the beach and park feet away from the ocean. Convenience is key.

We surfed till the waves went flat in the late afternoon. Usually the evening session is where it's at, but it never kicked back up, which was fine by me. I was more concerned with throwin' back a few beers and enjoying the evening on the beach, talkin' shit, and somehow stories of the crew came up (The Cougars, Legion, and RCA. Now formed up and known as the ColaRADbro's). Snowboarding back in Colorado came up. That's always fun to talk about, and made the time pass.

Today was rainy and flat, so I got some late breakfast and headed home. I had some work to do anyway, but instead here I am telling who's ever looking at this about my weekend. Surfing is so fun! But I really should get back to work. Hmmmm, I wonder if there is anything good on TV? Shit.... I don't have cable.
